We all play favorites. We have a favorite restaurant, a favorite sports team, a favorite movie, etc. Favorites are fine, when applied to these things. But favorites are wrong when it comes to how we treat other people–especially when we let the social-scorecard deem who matters and who doesn’t. In God’s economy, we are all his favorites!
