What if spiritual maturity isn’t just about knowing more about Jesus, but actually becoming more like Him? In Ephesians 4:17–32, Paul invites us to take an honest look at the “old wardrobe” we may still be wearing: patterns like anger, bitterness, harsh words, and un-forgiveness that no longer match who we are in Christ. But God doesn’t just call us to throw off the old; He invites us to put on the character of Jesus through truth, kindness, generosity, self-control, and forgiveness. This message will challenge us to ask: What old way of life is the Holy Spirit asking me to take off, and what new way of Christ is He inviting me to put on?

About this Conversation
In this episode of Beyond Sunday, the team unpacks Ephesians 4:1–16 and what it actually looks like to live worthy of the calling we've received. After three chapters celebrating God's grace, they dig into the practical side of faith — protecting unity, embracing our differences, and using our unique gifts to help the Body of Christ grow in love and maturity. The conversation gets honest about what unity really costs, why diversity in the church is a strength rather than a threat, and how spiritual gifts are meant to build up the whole community rather than serve any one person.

In Ephesians 3:14–21, Paul’s prayer reminds us that our greatest need isn’t external success, but internal strength rooted in God’s love. As we allow Christ to fully make His home within us, His love reshapes who we are from the inside out. Paul invites us to live, lead, and parent from that foundation—trusting that God can do far more through us than we could ever imagine.

Division comes naturally. We build walls between people based on politics, culture, values, backgrounds, and even our preferences within the church. Yet Ephesians 2 reveals that Jesus came to do the exact opposite. Through His death and resurrection, He tears down the walls that separate us and creates one new family united by grace. In Christ, outsiders become family, enemies become neighbors, and the church becomes a living picture of God's reconciling love. The question is not whether Jesus has torn down the walls—the question is whether we will live like they are truly gone.
